I commented on the X3f blog, but I wanted to say it here too. The 50th episode was amazing. Very well done. You guys are on your way to being the best podcast out there. While the other guys are getting boring, you guys still innovate. Between that and the Joystiq podcast, I'm a happy game twice a week. Peace out!

Your neighbor looks like mine - sucker.

Dude, in all honesty, if you've played Mass Effect enough, you've read the book. You can get all the interesting bits out of Anderson, and the book is very generic. It's a good read, and if you're hard in to Mass Effect it's totally worth your time, but otherwise, you're really not missing much.

Thanks for the reminder about the show - I need to resubscribe on my brand new Dell. Woot.

Yes! Good to have you back. I was thinking about you when I heard about the icestorms (that's not wierd right?) -- Anyway, I had the same experience with Galaxy. I really, really just wanted to go buy it. It was from my Mom-in-law, but my wife actually bought it because my MIL doesn't really know anything about video games. So what does my wife do? She puts the game next to all of my other games so she doesn't "forget where it is." How am I supposed to not open it? Well, I survived, but only because I opened Rock Band early which was my wife's present to me. We made a deal-- I got to open Rock Band, but I had to go Black Friday shopping at Midnight, and I wasn't allowed to make any snide remarks OR roll my eyes. Fortunately, I made it!
