About

8-Bit Ninja began in April 2006 as a small gaming news site. It now serves as my personal blog and professional portfolio. I started the site after stumbling upon Joystiq.com and a number of other gaming blogs my first year out of college (with a degree in theatre of all things). I read these sites so much, and looked for news on my own, that I figured there was no reason I couldn’t start a site of my own.

Through what still seems like a miraculous series of events, I was hired to work for Joystiq’s Xbox 360 Fanboy (now Xbox.Joystiq.com) in June of the same year. By July, I was made Lead (editor, essentially) and am now serving as a Contributing Editor for Joystiq.com. Thus, 8bN is now relegated to the occasional personal post and some reprinting of my more notable pieces on Joystiq. Enjoy. If you have any suggestions, questions, feel free to leave a comment on a post.
